The second half of every year is usually not
considered to be very busy as far as smartphone announcements are concerned,
but that notion is quickly changing. Apple’s iPhones and the Samsung Galaxy
Note range were the only notable flagship offerings that would break cover
during the second half of the year, but from this year we have the OnePlus 2,
while Motorola also releases its flagships in the second half of the year.
This month in particular has been very busy with
the arrival of the OnePlus 2, the Moto X Style, Moto X Play and the Moto G.
Regional player YU also released the Yureka Plus this month, so we have seen a
myriad of handsets in July. At the same time, we have also seen some existing
handsets making the headlines this month for the wrong reasons, so we have a
look at them all.
