Huawei Launches Honor 5X And Honor Holly 2 Plus Smartphones In India
Ever since we bid adieu to 2015, it seems that 2016 is a year of launches be it the smartphones, cars or bike. Earlier during the day, we told you about the launch of BlackBerry's Android-based smartphone—the Priv. And now
And in order to sell these smartphones, Huawei has collaborated with Amazon and Flipkart. While the pre-order for both these handsets has initiated today, the Honor 5X will go on sale on February 1 and the sale for the Holly 2 will commence on February 15.
Starting with Honor 5X, we get to know that this smartphone is a successor of the Honor 4X. Powered by a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor, this device features a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display, 2GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 16GB, which can be expanded further by up to 128GB using a microSD card. As far as camera is concerned, the Honor 5X, which comes with a metallic body made of aircraft grade aluminum, carries a 5MP front shooter camera and a 13MP rear camera. This handset by Huawei can be used to integrate one micro SIM, one nano SIM and one microSD card at the same time. It must be noted that both micro and nano SIM card slots support 4G connectivity. The 5X will be available in three colors - Gold, Silver, and Grey.
Moving on to the Holly 2 Plus, we noticed that this smartphone is equipped with a water wave curve design that carries a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display and a 1.3GHz quad-core
On the camera front, the Holly 2 comes with a 13MP rear and a 5MP front facing cameras. It will be available in Black, White and Gold colors.
