Lenovo launched its second device in the first month of 2016, Blackberry made a comeback with Priv, Huawei added two new powerful yet affordable phones to its portfolio, Oppo announced, its new 'Selfie-expert' phone, and the list goes on and on.

Huawei launches two Honor devices
Huawei brought in two new affordable smartphone contenders and they are: the Honor 5X and Honor Holly 2 Plus. 5X is the successor to the Honor 4X that features a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display and is powered by a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The Honor Holly 2 Plus, on the other hand, has a 5-inch HD display and a quad-core MediTek CPU with 2GB RAM to boast of. These devices cost Rs 12,999 and Rs 8,499 respectively.
Oppo's photography-focused F1 phone was announced
Oppo F1 is a device designed for the style-conscious youth smitten by the selfie bug. Its front camera boasts of Screen Flash; by turning on this feature, one can easily convert its entire display into a camera flash and carefully adjust brightness level optimized for natural-looking shots even in low light conditions. Lava V5: A new 4G-enabled phone in town
Lava V5 is the latest 4G enabled phone from Lava's portfolio. Priced at Rs 11,499, it gives you a 5.5-inch 720p display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek CPU coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB storage, which is further expandable by up to 32GB. Read more on Lava 5 here.
Blackberry Priv came to India
Blackberry Priv, the first Android-powered smartphone from the company, was launched in India at a whopping price of Rs 62,990. Though Priv seems to have all the right features, a QWERTY keypad, a 5.4-inch dual-curve Quad HD display, a hexacore Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, what makes us sad is that the company has once again got the pricing wrong.

Competitively priced at Rs 19,999, the Vibe X3 is a smartphone meant for media junkies and audiophiles that the company boasts can offer a sensational cinematic experience to its users.
