It was recently reported that Amazon would bring Kindle Unlimited to the Indian shores . Well, that day has finally arrived as the company has announced the arrival of the service in the country. As suggested by a previous rumor, the service will be made available for Rs 99 per month at an introductory price (1 month) and Rs 199 afterwards.

Kindle Unlimited will give users the ability to pick from a wide range of content, with over a million titles said to be on offer, including select audiobooks. However, the service has been blamed for lacking a few major titles in its list, so you won't be able to find them all here.

Titles that are supported by this service will be tagged with a Kindle Unlimited icon. To ensure that you're not disappointed with the collection after subscribing to the service, it makes sense to head over to Amazon India's catalog beforehand to check what's on offer.

eBook reading has picked up to a great extent in India, with Flipkart having the largest eBook platform in the country and second largest in the world behind Amazon Kindle. India is the first country in Asia to get Kindle Unlimited. So clearly, Amazon has high hopes from the region.

You can subscribe to Kindle Unlimited from Amazon right away.
