LG G Pro 2 Images Leak Online

The pictures of the forthcoming LG G Pro 2 have been leaked online. The pictures have surfaced on a Korean forum, DC Inside.

Earlier in this week, LG had confirmed that existence of LG G Pro 2 and also shared that it will be showcased in February 2014. It is being rumoured that this smartphone will make its debut at the Mobile World Congress that kicks off on 24 February at Barcelona.

From the image, it looks like the LG G Pro 2 will be slender device which will also have volume rocker and the power button at its rear. LG had adopted the same design philosophy for its flagship LG G2 smartphone in 2013 and later we also saw LG G Flex sport the same trend.

LG G Pro 2 will be a successor to popular LG Optimus G Pro. It is noteworthy, that LG Optimus G Pro was the first LG device to have a screen size larger than 5 inches.

Specs-wise, the LG Optimus Pro had the all the makings of a super phone with a 5.5 inch full HD display, a 1.7 Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage that can be taken up to 64 gigs via a microSD slot.

For the photoholics and instagrammers, the phone has a 13MP rear camera and 2.1 MP Front facing camera. The phone packs in a nice 3,140 mAh battery which as per LG's claims gives 15.5 hours of talk time and standby time of 24 days. Connectivity involves the usual suspects- 3G, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and GPS.

As of now, there is no official word in regards to the specifications of LG G Pro 2 but from the earlier leaks it is expected to sport a 6-inch full HD display. Internally, LG Pro 2 is likely to pack in Snapdragon 800 processor with 3GB of RAM. It will run on Android 4.4 KitKat and will also have LTE-A support. [ Engadget via DC Inside ]
