Onyx variant drew a lot of attention from fans. The sale was yet to get over, when the Chinese manufacturer informed OnePlus X fans that the Ceramic variant of their third flagship device will be up for sale today onwards i.e. December 11. The company has delayed the roll out of this device by almost two weeks; the device was expected to hit the stands by November 24 but it didn't.

As always, the Chinese manufacturer revealed this news in a tweet via its official account.
What makes OnePlus X Cermaic variant special is its premium contstruction. The Chinese manufacturer has used zirconia mould to build 10,000 units of this limited edition variant, which the company claims took 25 days in production. Apart from the material of construction, both Ceramic and Onyx variants of the smartphone are exactly the same.
