We have already heard a lot of news report that suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be the next flagship device from the Korean smartphone maker and it might see the light of the day at the IFA conference in Berlin next month.

Now a recent news report by Sina pegs that, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 may feature aspects of the new metal design approach found in the recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy Alpha. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is said to have borrowed its design philosophy from the iPhone.
From what we have heard so far the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 looks to be quite the hardware monster.

From the earlier leaks, it has been touted that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will pack in 5.7-inch Quad HD (1,440-pixel) display. The phablet will also have a 4GB RAM and up to 64GB of internal space. Complementing it will be top-of-line processor. Given that this is a Samsung so we can expect multiple processors for different markets.

Now if indeed Samsung offers a brand new design in the Galaxy Note 4, it would be a welcome change. Samsung so far has been criticized for its boring design and mocked at for using plastic for its flagship smartphones. Now that it finds, competition in the smartphone space heating up thanks to the all new Chinese smartphone brands, it is high time that it starts to do something out of the box to remain relevant in the market.

As per the grapevine, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha is just the start. Going forward not only with the Galaxy Note 4 have a metal-clad body, but even the Samsung Galaxy S6 could have the same. [Cnet]
