Apart from launching the Giantphone Sony Xperia T2 Ultra, the Japanese smartphone maker has also showcased the Sony Xperia E1 and Xperia E1 dual.
Coming to the specs of the Sony Xperia E1 and E1 dual, they have a 4-inch WVGA display. Both the phones pack in 1.2 GHZ processor along with 512 MB of RAM. They come with 4GB of internal storage, which can be expanded further with the help of microSD card slot.
There is a 3 MP rear camera but there is no front camera on these smartphones. No prizes for guessing that the difference between Sony Xperia E1 and Xperia E1 dual is that the latter will support dual SIM connection.
As of now there is no word regarding the price or availability of these smartphones but we expect them to be around Rs. 10,000 here inIndia (which is what Sony had priced the Sony Xperia E when they launched).
Sony is trying to focus on the music proficiency of these smartphones. Sony Xperia E1 and E1 dual come with 100 dB loud speakers, which as per the company claims, won't let even a motorcycle interrupt your music. It also comes with ClearAudio+ mode, which instantly enhances your listening experience and optimises the balance of frequencies, Sony shares. In addition xLOUD ensures that your tracks sound as good as they should.
"Xperia E1 combines the best of Sony's audio technologies with a premium design and great hardware to create a smartphone for people who want to express themselves out loud." said Calum MacDougall, Director of Xperia Marketing at Sony Mobile Communications. "It's a new, music focused player in our Xperia line-up that is underpinned by the best of Sony's design, display and content offers."
