Teasers before the smartphone launch have become quite a norm. Companies first create the buzz and then launch the product in the market. Continuing the tradition, Huawei has today teased the launch of successors to the Honor 4X and the Honor Holly today. These two devices from the Honor brand did really well in the Indian market as they offered a perfect mix of features for an affordable price. And now, the company is planning to take things up a notch and is going to bring their successors in the Indian market.

Though they haven’t revealed the names of these new devices, but as far as we know the successor to the Honor 4X will boast a 5.5 inch 1080p IPS display, a 5 MP wide angle selfie camera, a 13 MP rear camera, and an all-metal body. Innards would include a Snapdragon 616 Octa core processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM, expandable up to 128 GB via Micro SD card. It must be a 4G supported device, which must have a fingerprint sensor and a good 3,000 mAh battery.

Coming to the successor to Honor Holly next. You can expect a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display, a Mediatek Octa core processor alongwith 2 GB of RAM, a 13 MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing selfie camera. Towards the bottom must be a speaker grill with a micro USB port.

Both these devices must come running on Android Lollipop 5.1.1 with the EMUI 3.1 skin on top, and the names pf these devices would be revealed on 28th January 2016 at a press conference in New Delhi.
