The Nokia Pixel leaks ahead of MWC 2017

Nokia’s been on a bit of a roll lately, with the anticipated MWC appearance in 2017, a lot of the rumored Android phones that Nokia is set to launch have already leaked on to the web. The company behind Nokia’s Smartphone resurrection – HMD Global, has also confirmed its presence at MWC 2017.

Now a new phone may have leaked online, per a Geekbench listing , a new entry level device known as the Nokia Pixel may also be joining the company on the front lines at MWC 2017. The specs peg the device to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 which is paired with 1GB of RAM. The dual core CPU seems to be running at a clock speed of 1.19GHz. The phone is also rumored to include support for Quick Charge 3.0 Technology for the battery.

Geekbench reports a score of 404 for single core performance and 661 for the multi core performance. Interestingly, Geekbench also reports the operating system as Android 7.0.1, which is the version number for Nougat, the latest build of Android, which may make Nokia Pixel one of the first entry level phones next year to run on the operating system.

Nokia is rumored to launch at least two phones next year, one of which will most likely be the Nokia D1C which is tipped to have a 2K resolution display along with IP68 water and dust resistance. The phone will most likely also have a Snapdragon 820 processor under the hood which will be paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The D1C is also rumored to have a 13MP camera on the back and an 8MP companion on the front. The D1C is tipped to have a unibody metal design and is expected to be available in three colors, Gold, White and Black.
