Acer's newly unveiled gaming laptop is a gamer's bed-wetting dream. It's powerful, it's curved and it's certainly not light. Oh, and also outrageously expensive. To the tune of $9000 (roughly Rs 6,13,579).

Launched at CES 2017 today, the laptop sports a 21-inch curved display with a resolution 2560x1080 pixels and a 120hz refresh rate. On top of that, it comes with an eye-tracking technology from Tobii along with Nvidia G-Sync that removes issues like screen tearing.

Beneath the curved hood is the latest overclockable 7th-gen Intel Core i7-7820HK Kaby Lake processor coupled with a whopping 64GB of DDR4 RAM and dual Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics in SLI. For storage, you get room for up to four 512GB SSDs in RAID 0 configuration along with a 7200 RPM hard drive of 1 TB.

This massive beast comes with a full-scale mechanical keyboard featuring fully programmable backlit Cherry MX Brown switches. The numeric keypad can be flipped over to reveal a Precision Touchpad.

Inside, it has a 3-way audio design powered by 4 speakers and 2 subwoofers to produce a full-spectrum hi-fidelity sound.

All this firepower inside is cooled down by a system of 5 cooling fans and 9 heat pipes. The fan speeds can be changed to adjust the fan's airflow just in case the gaming session goes for a tad bit too long.

Is the price-tag worth the features? If you're still not convinced, Acer also offers the liberty to fully customize the top panel with a combination of graphics, nation flags and name engravings. Heck, the first 300 models will have limited edition series number engraved on the panel.

The Acer 21 X weighs up to 8.8kgs. So all that money will also get you some exercise every time you wish to carry the monster around. The notebook comes with its own hard-shell carrying case for safe carriage.
