Currently e-ticketing system caters to over 10 lakh passengers daily (comprising 58% of total reserved passengers). Speaking of the features of the app, Prabhu added “The new application has features like 24/7 service with no time-based checks, synchronisation of mobile app with NGET (Next Generation e-Ticketing) for ticket booking and simple and easy user interface,”

The app also boasts a self-assigned PIN system, which makes the process of logging into the service easier. The app has also been synchronised with the IRCTC website to make ticket booking easier. Users will be able to search and book train tickets via the app, the service also accepts payments from e-wallets such as Paytm and Mobiwik.
