Here are the first images of what is frequently called the "X+1", the sequel to Motorola's critically acclaimed Moto X.
They were leaked by retiring leaker @evleaks, aka Evan Blass as a "retirement gift" and confirm the poorly-lit images we saw on Android Police last month.
The X+1 seems to sport dual camera flashes, a wooden back option, and front-facing speakers like the Moto E. The Verizon logo on the back confirms at least one carrier that its coming to. It's the dots on the top and bottom bezels that have us intrigued, however. Can this phone have face-tracking cameras like Amazon's Fire phone? Considering how useful that gimmick was, we sure as hell hope not.
The phone is expected to be unveiled at a September 4 event in Chicago, so we'll know for sure in just a few weeks. [Engadget]
