If you are a power user, you may want to go for a smartphone with higher specs. There are several powerful devices available in the market today, some of them even with RAM up to 8GB. However, smartphones with 6GB RAM, paired with a high-end chipset such as the Snapdragon 835, should be sufficient to handle just about any task without an issue.

Although even 4GB RAM should get the job done just as well in most cases, having a little extra on board will keep your device running for a longer time. Here are some of the 6B smartphones that you may want to consider:

Samsung Galaxy Note 8
Samsung's flagship phablet Galaxy Note 8 is currently one of the best devices with 6GB RAM. In addition to 6GB RAM, it comes with a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED 'Infinity' display with 2960x1440p. Powering the smartphone is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The device runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat and has the company's home-brewed Bixby digital assistant. The new Note is also dust and water-resistant, thanks to its IP68 rating. It is also the company's first smartphone with a dual-camera set-up (two 12MP sensors and an 8MP selfie shooter). It has a metal frame and a glass back and features thin bezels around the screen, just like the Galaxy S8 series. It is priced at Rs 67,900.

OnePlus 5T
Within a span of few months, OnePlus has come up with yet another flagship smartphone, OnePlus 5T, which looks nearly the same as the previous OnePlus flagship, OnePlus 5. It even comes at the same price point of Rs 32,999 for the 6GB RAM. To be available in India from November 21, handset sports a 6.01-inch full HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) Optic AMOLED display with a pixel density of 401ppi and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, the smartphone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The OnePlus 5T is the first OnePlus smartphone to carry a bezel-less display. It is also the first to support facial recognition as a security feature, a feature that OnePlus has termed as Face Unlock. In addition to this, OnePlus has made slight tweaks to the dual camera setup of the OnePlus 5 to improve upon the camera capabilities of the OnePlus 5T.

Coolpad Cool Play 6
The Coolpad Cool Play 6 features a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution. The handset has a fingerprint sensor on the back and is powered by a 64-bit, 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor. The device offers 64GB internal storage, but it's non-expandable. Running Android 7.1.1 Nougat, the smartphone is backed by a 4000mAh battery. Other features include a dual rear camera setup with two 13MP modules for depth of field and monochrome functionalities and an 8MP front camera with /2.2 aperture. The Coolpad Cool Play 6 is all yours for Rs 14,999 and is available in soft gold and black colour options.

Oppo F3 Plus

Although the Oppo F3 has been in India for quite some time now, the 6GB RAM variant saw the light of the day only recently. The handset comes equipped with a 6-inch full-HD IPS LCD display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution, secured with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Oppo F3 Plus is powered by 1.95GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor and supports 64GB of internal storage and a microSD card of up to 256GB. As for the cameras, the Oppo F3 Plus comes with dual front-facing cameras. These include a 16MP regular module and an 8MP wide-angle module. The handset bears the price tag of Rs 22,990.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 sports a bezel-less 5.99-inch QHD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by a 2.4Ghz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU. While the 5MP front camera with facial recognition is placed at the bottom of the display, the fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear panel. It has 128GB internal storage and sports a 12MP rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording, 4-axis OIS and dual tone LED flash. The handset runs on Android 7.0 Nougat but, as per the company, it may also receive Android 8.0 Oreo update by December. The smartphone can all yours for Rs 35,999.
