It's not long before businesses will get to use WhatsApp's much-awaited Business App. The APK file for WhatsApp Business is now listed on a third party app store, APKMirror.

The company has already partnered with BookMyShow for the business program. The APK available on APKMirror can be used only the businesses that are approved by WhatsApp for testing. The company had published a survey to enroll businesses in its testing program. The businesses that are approved via the survey can access the leaked APK from APKMirror.

WhatsApp will let the business managers use a separate app for business accounts. The company has also announced a landline support. The verification process for a landline is still unclear. The support for landlines is very important for markets like India where there is still a lot of dependency on the landline phone for small businesses.

Even the instructions to use WhatsApp Business app are out. Business owners can register a new number with the app to keep their personal and business profile independent. They can see the messages that are sent to customers along with basic analytical abilities. The messaging service is also customizing certain features for large businesses.

BookMyShow has signed up under WhatsApp Business program to send ticket updates via the app to customers. The APK listed on APKMirror comes with limited analytics like messages sent, received, delivered and read to customers. Business profiles can contain details like address, website and 'away' status to let the customers know that the business manager is not available at the moment.

The Facebook-owned messaging platform has over 200 million active users in India. The company will allow users to block any service on the app to prevent potential spam messages. The world's biggest messaging app might monetize the business app in future releases.
